I’m Alessandro Squatrito, freelancer product and interaction designer.
My interests focus on the interactions between human and things.

I’m based in 
, IT, the city of the Mole.
Since 2017 I have taught, as a guest professor at HfG Karlsruhe, Germany, where I teach interaction design, in a continuous research between digital/analog. I also teach at UniRSM, in San Marino, as an assistant professor. I also taught at IED Torino and Relational Design at Abadir Academy.
Between 2016 and 2019 I collaborated with Arduino: first on Casa Jasmina, a pilot project on IoT and future domestic landscapes, curated by Bruce Sterling. With Arduino I also participated on the design of

Between 2013 and 2016 I was based in, 
, where I worked as a designer at Studio Minale-Maeda,
are some projects of that period. During the same period I worked at Studio Chris Kabel and Richard Hutten. In 2012 I finished my MA in product design at Università Iuav of Venice under the tutorship of Aldo Cibic, one of the founder of Memphis.
In 2011 I also worked with Aldo at Cibicworkshop, his studio.
Between 2005 and 2008 I was based in
my hometown where I studied industrial design at Università degli Studi di Palermo.
